ZG2100MC from ZeroG. This is a WiFi module with a SPI interface that even a 8 bit processor like ATMEG328 can drive. This module comes with a PCB antenna, and is used on the popular Arduino WiFi shield. For hardware and software driver, please refer to: http://www.cutedigi.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=17 The ZG2100 Wi-Fi I/O product family is ideal for low-power, cost-sensitive applications. It can be designed into a wide variety of platforms with far fewer engineering resources as when compared to other Wi-Fi solutions in the market. The ZG2100M is also very flexible and can be used in designs ranging in complexity: simple designs without an OS or external memory are possible as more complex systems where the Wi-Fi I/O is integrated into an OS. Designers also have the option to design with an on-board PCB antenna or an external antenna. Development kits are currently available for a wide variety of Microchip PIC processors. Additional MCU platforms will be added over the coming months. ZeroG's modules will be modular certified through several worldwide regulatory bodies. The idea behind modular certification is to reduce the testing and certification burden on our customers. The ZG2100M is a high quality module that is certified and ready for immediate integration into an end product. To date, ZeroG has received certification from FCC, IC, the Wi-Fi Alliance and are compliant with CE, ROHS, ETSI and Japan. Details of certification are as follows: - USA: FCC Part 15 Class B and subpart C
- Europe: ETSI EN 300 328-2 and ETSI EN 301 489-1, -17, EN60950, CE-Mark
- ROHS and CE Compliant
- Canada: RSS-210 and RSS-Gen
- Japan
- Wi-Fi® Alliance: Wi-Fi® certified for 802.11b
